The Soil Web at Shilbottle
Claire and David Venus have been successful in a grant application to test a community driven model of creating soil/ compost in their allotment garden space in Shilbottle, Northumberland.

They will be using a variety of sustainable and vermin free composting methods to test how much food waste can be recycled into compost over the course of Spring and Summer in 2023.

The compost will be used in our allotment and gifted back to the neighbours who help.

This questionnaire is gathering research information from those who would like to be involved or kept up to date about the soil project which we've called The Soil Web.

In the summer, David will offer 1/2 and full day retreats sessions which combine permaculture education with movement, mindfulness, yoga and more.

Thanks so much for supporting our project and Big Dream!
