AASPA will annually award two scholarships to assist a minority candidate seeking his/her initial teaching certificate endorsement.  Each scholarship will be given in the amount of $3,500.00.  Candidates will be eligible for the award if they are entering their 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻/𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 if applicable.

The following documentation must be submitted by May 17, 2024 to aaspa@aaspa.org.

o Application,
o Copy of your unofficial transcript,
o Letter from the Dean of the College of Education or a designated representative of program.
o Letter from a character reference and
o Copy of your resume

*Please complete all questions.  An incomplete application will not be considered for the AASPA Scholarship.  

**An unofficial transcript can be used at this time, but an official transcript may be required at a later date.
