Women in Music (Boston Chapter) Wants to Hear From You!
Hello! The Boston chapter of Women in Music is seeking to get a better picture of our local music community as we grow. In an effort to craft more diverse, inclusive and impactful programming that serves all of our members, we hope you'll share feedback to help us further define our offerings for WIM Boston.

About WIM
Women in Music is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to educate, empower, and advance women in the music industry. Originally founded in 1985 in New York, Women in Music now encompasses chapters across the country, and across the globe - from LA to India. Our members are a diverse group of women, men and non-binary individuals at all stages in their careers — from students to seasoned industry veterans. We are record label executives, artist managers, songwriters, musicians, attorneys, recording engineers, agents, publicists, studio owners, music publishers, online and traditional marketers, and more.

What We Do
Women in Music hosts educational, career development and networking events alongside broader programming initiatives to serve the needs of our diverse communities around the world. Our panels, seminars, webinars, workshops, performance showcases, achievement awards, leadership summits, and global initiatives serve to educate, empower, and celebrate female contributions to the music world, and strengthen community ties.

In 2020, WIM Boston seeks to add more programming with a focus on supporting members of the music community who have been traditionally marginalized, including those who identify as gender non-binary or LGBTQ. We are also focusing on bringing our community more educational workshops and events, and engaging our male allies.

Help us further define our future programming! What would you like to see from Women in Music Boston? How can we add to and strengthen our local music community? Please give us your thoughts!
