PAGEANT START TIME: 7:00 PM *All contestants must check in by 6:30 on the night of their Pageant. PRIZES include: Tiara, Trophy, Roses, Sash, and Cash- FAIR QUEEN $150.00, JUNIOR MISS $75.00, LITTLE MISS $50.00, TINY MISS $50.00
Open to all girls ages 5-17. MUST ATTEND KISD OR LIVE IN KELLER. Contestants are judged on poise, personality & appearance only. There is not a talent competition. Each contestant is required to wear formal, semi-formal, or a party dress during Pageant. All dresses must be age appropriate. Makeup is optional. Ages 10 and under, please wear minimal makeup only, this is a HOMETOWN PAGEANT. Contestants may only hold the title in their age division one time.
If chosen by Judges to REPRESENT THE LIONS CLUB, the Queen and Court WILL BE EXPECTED to participate in several Community events throughout the year and will receive Community Service hours. Please, no 2024 out of town college bound contestants. Traditionally, events include but are not limited to: Keller Summer Nights, Randy’s Ride, Conners Car Show, KHS Homecoming Parade, Keller Parade of Lights, 2 dinner parties at the Lions Club Den, and delivery of healthy snacks to Keller Fire Department Christmas Eve morning.
Deadline: All entries must be postmarked no later than Monday APRIL 1, 2024.ENTRY FEE OF $35.00 PER CONTESTANT MUST ACCOMPANY REGISTRATION AND BIO- Cash or Check only. CONTESTANTS NEED TO ATTEND ORIENTATION TUESDAY APRIL 2nd, 7:00 pm at the Keller Lions Club Den. 532 Keller Pkwy, Keller, 76248. Dress casually. During orientation, numbers will be drawn to establish contestants' walk order on stage.
REHEARSAL SATURDAY APRIL 6th, come and go anytime between 9-11:00 am on stage at KLC. Casual attire. Contestants will learn the pattern and proper walk from the Fair Queen and Court.
OPTIONAL: Contestants are invited to participate (INDEPENDENTLY) in the Keller Lions Club Parade, Tuesday, APRIL 9th. It will begin at 6:00 pm at Bear Creek Intermediate and end at the Lions Club Fair. If you choose to participate, decorate and provide your own mode of transportation.
PLEASE SUBMIT BIO WITH REGISTRATION ONLINE OR VIA EMAIL. The Bio is what will be read as the contestant walks the stage. It should be entertaining and reflect the contestants personality (i.e. parents’/family members' names, contestant’s age, school, likes, interests, goals, etc.). Minimum of 100 words, max 150 words.
