Hughes Lab: 2024-25 Rotation student inquiry
The Hughes lab welcomes graduate students interested in exploring whether our laboratory's environment and scientific inquiries are ideal for the thesis phase of their graduate training.

Historically, the lab has accepted rotation students on a first-come, first-served basis. However, we have found this policy does not favor those exploring varied fields of interest during their first year of graduate school. In an effort to extend this opportunity to as diverse a population of students as possible, we ask you to complete the questions below. We will use this information to best match the interests of the student and the laboratory with a consensus-based approach involving all current lab members. Students will be informed four weeks prior to the start of the upcoming rotation whether the lab has availability for them to rotate (e.g. ~July15th, ~Oct15th, ~Jan15th).

For questions or clarifications, please do not hesitate to reach out to discuss this process with any Hughes lab member. Thank you for your interest in our group and helping us build the most diverse and innovative group possible.
