Walkers are defined as students who walk to/from the address or addresses listed below, and physically walking away from his/her teacher without a parent present, whether they are walking to meet their parent on campus, to the address listed in PowerSchool. If there is a family of students, all students, with the exception of the “oldest” will need to remain with their teacher in carpool. The oldest student(s) will go to his/her youngest sibling’s place in carpool and can dismiss from there. Unless the office is notified prior to dismissal, students defined as walkers will be released as normal during inclement weather. Should any of the following information vary from day to day, it is your responsibility to notify your child's teacher.

Grand Peak Academy urges parents to consider the safety of students walking on Cowpoke Rd. and Canary Circle when granting permission for a child to walk home instead of other means of transportation. Please complete the following form, one for each child:
