There are many ways to support Mouse’s students and teachers across all of our programming. Below are examples of previous volunteer opportunities.

Design League Virtual Industry Mentor: Share your career pathway with a class of middle or high school students and give feedback on their design projects as they build them. (Format: remote; real-time; 2-5 hours over several months)

Design League Judge: Give feedback as middle and high school students pitch their design projects. (Format: remote or in-person; real-time or asynchronous; 2-3 hours at one time)

Emoti-Con NYC Youth Digital Media & Technology Challenge: Review projects and share feedback with teams of student innovators at this city-wide competition. (Format: remote or in-person; real-time or asynchronous; 3-6 hours at one time or spread out)

Technology & Design Career Panel: Answer questions from students about your personal career pathway, your role, and industry. (Format: remote; real-time; 1-2 hours at one time)

#CSEdWeek Conversations: Speak about career paths and projects with a class of K-8th grade students whose teacher is implementing computer science programming within their classroom. (Format: remote; real-time; up to 1 hour at one time)
