Battle of the Brains is a weekend-long virtual competition devoted to stimulating one’s knowledge of interdisciplinary neuroscience concepts, including but not limited to neuroethics, cognitive neuroscience, neurodegenerative diseases, neuroeconomics, cultural neuroscience, criminal and forensic psychology, neurosurgery, and the neuroscience of visual art and music.
Structure of the competition: Student attendees will form groups of 3 to 4 individuals to collaborate on unlocking various interdisciplinary trivia modules. More information will be coming soon--keep an eye out for an email post-registration and/or Simply Neuroscience's social media announcements.
Current high school students (Grades 9-12) and undergraduate students (pursuing a Bachelor's degree) are eligible to participate in the Battle of the Brains. Middle school students above the age of 13 years are also welcome to participate.
Battle of the Brains is hosted by an international, student-led, fiscally sponsored non-profit organization named Simply Neuroscience, which works to foster students' interdisciplinary interests in the brain through neuroscience and psychology education, outreach, and awareness.
