This year, JCUA will be offering our full-day Organizing 101 training virtually for our members. The training will be Sunday, July 11 from 10:00 am - 4:30 pm on Zoom.
We have had great success translating our full-day trainings to a Zoom context, and we are excited to bring this training to our members this summer.
The training will cover Jewish connections to community organizing; power, values, relationships, and self-interest; one-on-one training; and effective meeting facilitation.
This training is a great opportunity for JCUA members, new and veteran, to learn and practice core organizing skills, meet other JCUA members, and gain a better understanding of JCUA's method of social change.
Spots are limited for the training, and we will be prioritizing applications from members who have not attended an Organizing 101 or Organizing Basics training with JCUA previously. But we encourage all interested members to apply!
Please reach out to Anna Rubin (
anna@jcua.org) with any questions. Applications will close on Monday, June 28.
