I am a final year student at Swansea University, studying Early Childhood Studies (BA). This research aims to gain understanding of parental and practitioner perspectives of the impact COVID-19 has had on young children’s transitions to Nursery.


You have been invited to take part in this study as you are a practitioner working in a school Nursery. By reflecting on your observations and experiences of the transition period, this study hopes to identify areas of strength and improvement for schools to consider for the next cohort of children.


There is no pressure to be part of this study, and taking part is voluntary.  The data you provide will be anonymous. Some of the questions may ask for personal characteristics, but no identifying information such as names or school is required. The data will be stored until completion of the degree (June 2022).

The research has been approved by the Department for Education and Childhood Studies Research Ethics Committee at Swansea University. There are no significant risks associated with participation.
 

The study should take you around 10 minutes to complete.
