Black Student Union
These are some of the many goals for our BSU:

Create a clearer identity and opportunities for involvement in life at school for our students, while providing a support system for students both academically and socially.

Break down negative stereotypes attached to the black community through the promotion of a positive image of Black culture.

Increase awareness and appreciation for African American/Black issues, history, and culture among the student body at Colonial Forge High School.

Commit yourself to learning so you can be effective when you act.

Why would you like to join the BSU?
We are here to learn and grow together as a community. Understanding one another is a key step to providing real change. Many of us have different views and whether or not we come to agreements, we are here to listen, learn, and be heard. However, we do not tolerate any form prejudice or discrimination directed against anyone for any reason. A member may also be expelled from the club for violating any major student body regulation or major school/district rule. As a member of the Colonial Forge Black Student Union, you are a representative of our club and are expected to uphold our image. Strive for excellence in everything you do while showing respect for others. *
