The purpose of this award is to recognize individuals, families, organizations, or businesses who have enriched the lives of the students of St. Mary’s, Cape Catholic, Notre Dame, and Notre Dame Regional High School with their time, treasure, and/or talent.

Criteria
Members of the Notre Dame Family are eligible for Annunciation Award recognition.  Notre Dame Family Members are defined as:
  • Alumni of St. Mary’s, Cape Catholic, Notre Dame, or Notre Dame Regional High School
  • Parents of St. Mary’s, Cape Catholic, Notre Dame, or Notre Dame Regional High School alumni or present students
  • Faculty and Staff who have made significant contributions through their dedicated work with students while at St. Mary’s, Cape Catholic, Notre Dame or Notre Dame Regional High School
  • Businesses, Organizations, or Community Members who support St. Mary’s, Cape Catholic, Notre Dame or Notre Dame Regional High School
Qualifications for the Annunciation Award include the nominee’s contributions of time, talent, and/or treasure to St. Mary’s, Cape Catholic, Notre Dame, and/or Notre Dame Regional High School, as well as their life achievements.

An individual may be accepted posthumously.
Nomination Procedures and Deadlines
  • Completed nomination forms must be received by May 1st annually.
  • Public announcement of inductees will be made by September 1st annually.
  • Applications may also be completed online at www.notredamehighschool.org.

Selection Procedure
  • A committee will review the nomination forms and select those who merit recognition.
  • Selection will be based on criteria along with the judgment of the selection committee.
Recognition
  • The NDHS Education Fund Foundation will host an annual dinner in the fall. The purpose of this event is to honor our Annunciation Award recipients and serve as an appreciation for all our Acts of the Apostle Society members.
  • The name of the honoree will be displayed with all Annunciation award recipients in the Development Office and inclusion in the Annunciation Award recipient list on the NDHS Education Fund Foundation webpage.
  • Honorees will receive an annual invitation to Notre Dame’s Annunciation Feast Day Liturgy and Luncheon in honor of our Annunciation Award recipients.
