Your child has been nominated by their teacher to attend Hi Res: artist in residence.

Hi Res is an artist in residence program for Year 11 and 12 visual arts students of all abilities focusing on strengthening art-making and art criticism skills and knowledge. This program aims to engage and connect students to the artworld, providing the opportunity to work directly and meaningfully with a practicing artist.

Families and teachers are invited to attend a showcase of student artwork following the workshop.

2023 program
Artist is residence: Janine Debenham
Expressive form: printmaking

Artist in residence, Janine Debenham, will lead students through a two-day printmaking workshop responding to the immediate landscape and a Vanitas still life in the artmaking space through a range of printmaking approaches. Working closely with the artist in residence, students will acquire knowledge and understanding of her methods, materials, concepts and intentions in relationship to her past and present bodies of work.

The workshop cost of $50 per student will be payable to your child's school.
