Application Details
To be eligible for this program, you must (1) be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, (2) not be graduating with a BA or BS before the summer, (3) be a full-time student at the college or university that you listed below, and (4) be available for full-time research work (minimum of Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm) from June 25 - August 29, 2024.

To be considered, your application must be complete and include all of the following materials:

(1) Completed application form (answer all questions below)
(2) Two letters of reference from academic faculty or equivalent emailed directly to: REU@wwu.edu
(3) Unofficial transcript including Fall 2023 grades and classes for which you are registered for Winter/Spring 2024
(4) Personal statement as described below

All portions of your application should be received on or before April 1, 2024. Offers may be extended throughout the application process, and all positions may be filled prior to the deadline. Thus, you are highly encouraged to submit your application well before the deadline.
