What is Peer Buddies?
Peer buddies is a program that encourages friendships and connections with students across all classroom settings. General education students will get to be a friend, connection, and positive role model with a peer from Builta's Achieving Independent Milestones Program to help them feel included during their school day. Every week, on a specified day, they will act as a support during their PE class, lunch and/or recess that they share with that student. Being a peer buddy will involve helping to include their buddy in games and activities, and being part of the overall group. Peer Buddies has a positive impact on all who participate and is a great way for students to learn, grow, and have fun together.

Please contact Ms. Peck, the school social worker with any questions or concerns.
