SHARE Healthcare is excited to host an interactive workshop on Utilizing Mapping Resources to Understand Health Disparities with Dr. Barrett. Using the National Cancer Institute's GIS data and mapping tools, we will learn how to create epidemiological maps, manipulate variables, and observe trends. This will be a valuable experience for anyone that is looking to learn more about studying health disparities.

Dr. Barrett is a Professor Emeritus of Sociology with research interests in understanding the social roots of health disparities, particularly within cancers. He will be facilitating this workshop using his expertise and experiences.
