Litdrive Expression of Interest

As a registered charity and rapidly growing, Litdrive relies on volunteers across the English teaching community to support with our work. We welcome contributions for our newsletter, offers to deliver subject knowledge PD at one of our regional events, administrative support, social media management or help in the ongoing review of our member resource bank. Or you may wish to commit through our Regional Advocate role, representing Litdrive in your local area and committing to planning and hosting a regional event for members.

We ask volunteers that wherever possible, they commit to 12 months with a 1 hour a week commitment. Full details of how this might look are provided ahead of any role recruitment, when we meet with you to discuss the role and ask any questions that you might have.

We aim to get in touch with all offers at each half term point, as all of our volunteers are busy full-time teachers in schools. Our next round of contact will be at the end of January. Thank you so much in advance for offering your time, knowledge and expertise- it is hugely appreciated.

If you would like to submit a session proposal, please outline your chosen foci or working title for a 'subject knowledge, not spec' LitdriveCPD session. Describe the session overview, with the aims of the session itself. Our format is: subject not spec, a narrow text. genre or character focus, or modelled strategies. Sessions are 15-20 minutes in length.
