Building Mod Form

DO NOT SUBMIT a Building Mod for Data Drops, Phone Lines, Phones, Cameras, A-Phones, or Card Access.  INSTEAD open an Technology Ticket and EXIT now.

ACCEPTABLE building mod requests include but are not limited to:
        Room Renovations, Move/Remove Boards, Electrical, Painting, Carpet, Playground, Graphics, Window              Perfs, Walls, Doors, SB-1 Locks, Hanging Items, Tiling, Fencing, Concrete, Keys, Locks,
        Appliances, Cabinets, Blinds, Shades, Paint Lockers, Murals, LED Signs, Lighting, 
        Signage, Storage/Shed, Sinks, Vestibule, Lockers, Athletic Facilities, Bottle Filler

Building Mod Requests will be evaluated monthly by the Building Mod Committee.  Requests are either Approved, Pending (need more info/quotes), on HOLD, or Denied.    

COMMON DENIAL REASONS include:
  • Capital Project  (Substantial Construction Over $20,000 and needs Board Approval)
  • Restriction/S&E  (Safety, Environmental or Construction Code restriction)
  • Duplicate Request
  • Do not support  (JCPS does not approve)
  • Non approved location
  • Other
  • No funds available
  • Next Renovation  (included in next major renovation)
  • Not cost effective
