AmeriCorps Members are required to pass state and federal criminal background checks as well as checks of the Adult and Child Maltreatment Registries and Sex Offender Registry.  A criminal background does not necessarily exclude an applicant from service, but failure to disclose relevant events will mean immediate termination.

Are you currently an AmeriCorps or VISTA member at another site or have you served as an AmeriCorps or VISTA Member in the past? *

Are you able to serve 40 hours a week for a six (6) month term beginning March 3, 2020 to  August 31, 2020? *
You must serve 900 hours to successfully complete your term and receive an Education Award. There limited part-time 12 month positions available.
AmeriCorps positions pay a living allowance of $7,070 over the course of your AmeriCorps term. Are you willing and able to live on a stipend of $7,070? *
Other benefits for AmeriCorps members are: $3,047.50 Segal Education Award at the end of a successful service term, Healthcare coverage, and Student Loan forbearance.
