Puppy Parties are 45 minutes every Saturday from 10am-3pm @ 9 Sixth st, New Westminster dedicated to puppies under 5 months old and are held by Stefania (Trainer), Jelena, and Laura. Your confirmation and scheduled drop off time will be emailed the Thursday afternoon before your party. We are staggering drop off and pick up times to avoid clumps of people arriving at once for safety reasons.

Owners will drop off their puppy at scheduled time (please follow social distancing protocols as found on our Instagram COVID-19 story highlight, on this form and on our front door). Humans may watch our Instagram stories @mindfulmutts to see videos of their puppies playing!

This a safe option for puppies to toss and tumble, play, socialize to sights/sounds/smells and gain confidence in a small group of dogs with careful supervision by humans experienced in puppy play. This option is a great alternative to provide those that cannot get their pups to daycare for playtime during the week for various reasons including distance, to socialize their pups with other pups during a crucial developmental period in their lives. We have groups of 4 puppies in a group at once, we will be grouping dogs according to age and play-appropriate groups, and they will get 45 minutes of playtime, when it's time to pick up your puppy we will talk about how your puppy did and we will then invite the next staggered group of dogs in to play :-)

All dogs must come in on a collar, harness, and a standard 6ft leash.  NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES ALLOWED. You may be turned away if your puppy arrives on one. *

I understand that any use of force, physical punishment, pseudoscience (energy/dog whispering), or use of shock/choke/prong/e-collars etc intended to inflict pain and fear in my dog will not be tolerated and are strictly prohibited. I understand that Mindful Mutts reserves the right to refuse service to anyone insisting on using these painful tools and training methods, and that I risk losing my paid sessions/packages at any time without refunds or credits given if found not following ethical training/handling guidelines as provided by Mindful Mutts.  I understand that puppy parties may be cancelled if we have less than 3 dogs scheduled, we want to ensure each puppy is getting the best possible experience. Cut off for puppy socials on Sundays, are Friday at 5pm. *
By clicking "I agree" you release Mindful Mutts and all affiliated with from any and all liability including but not limited to: illnesses or injuries inflicted by dogs/owners to other dogs/owners. You also agree that any damage to property, dogs, or humans by result of your own dog (or yourself) will result in immediate removal of the class (no refunds or credits) and that you will be responsible for costs associated with medical bills or fixing property damage. You release Mindful Mutts of any harm or liability in the event of illness or injury regardless of whether a person or pet has been afflicted. *
Please note that if you have been sick, shown any flu-like symptoms, have been around anyone sick or exhibiting flu-like symptoms, or have traveled or been near anyone that has traveled since March 13, 2020 that you MUST disclose so, with detail, on this form in the space provided below. We may request that you self isolate in your home with your dog for a min. of 14 days prior to beginning any service where we are in closer physical proximity with you or your dog for any length of time (including entering your home for dog walking or in-taking your dog for daycare.) While we remain open with minimal services available and a plethora of safety protocols in place... we reserve the right to refuse service at any time to protect the integrity, health and safety of our staff, clientele, and community as a whole by being leaders in transparency and cleanliness. *
While (thanks to science and leaders in public health like Dr Tam and Dr Henry) we know that our dogs cannot contract COVID-19 from humans, or pass it on to us... we are taking matters extremely seriously and acknowledge that the COVID-19 virus can live on a dog's fur for up to 3 hours like most other surfaces. We have protocols in place for both staff AND clients to follow for the health, safety and well-being of everyone. *
Should you be sick, have any flu-like symptoms (even mild), be around anyone who is sick or exhibiting flu like symptoms you must report it to us so that we can discuss actions to be taken (likely asking you to keep your dog at home until you are better, or a 14 day quarantine has been completed). Provided we are being given transparent information we will be more than happy to hold packages on a case-by-case basis so that your dog can remain an active member of our crew <3 *
