The Information Technology Academy (ITA) is a 3 year program, starting in the 10th grade. Once you are in an academy, you become a family filled with teachers that have your best interest. ITA has their own set of core teachers throughout the 3 years.
 
Classes
Digital Art Design for the Web (Beg & Adv) -  Introduction to HTML, cascading style sheets, web graphics, web-based animation and interface design. Students will learn the fundamentals of Web development. In the advance class you will learn Adobe Illustrator, 3D studio Max. You will build on your own skills by designing a portfolio web site.

ISDM (Beg & Adv) - Introductory course explains the basic concepts & theories of electronics hardware, network design and network protocals. You will understand how to operate robotics through programming language. In the advance course you will explore Cisco routing, server setup and support. Build on your networking skills to prepare you to find jobs.
 
 OTHER BENEFITS You will learn how to do a professional resume, prepare for job interviews, learn how to work as a team. You will learn valuable soft skills to help you in college or a career.  You will also explore careers in technology or other industry. You will attend field trips to technology based businesses.  We have college representatives help you with the application process. Plus you will earn COLLEGE CREDIT!
