Music makes you smarter. Every year music students score higher on the college SAT than non-music students and make up the HIGHEST group GPA at El Cerrito Middle School . Free and fun music classes are open to ALL students, with or without experience. We have great classes to fit all levels from beginner to advanced, and YOU DON’T HAVE TO BUY AN INSTRUMENT! Students with no experience: If you’ve always wanted to learn to play an instrument, or if you started before but weren’t able to continue for any reason (grades, time, cost, etc.), now is your chance.  Beginners can pick from a variety of instruments, please see the presentation slide for list/options.
