What is the difference between singles ramp unassisted and singles ramp assisted? *

With unassisted, the athlete aims the ramp unassisted. With assisted, an assistant aims the ramp based on direction from the athlete, but the assistant must have their back to the pins.

With unassisted, the athlete rolls the ball down the ramp unassisted, although they may receive help lifting the ball onto the ramp. With assisted, the athlete only needs to make an attempt to touch the ball before the assistant helps roll it.
