The United States Department of Agriculture in Alexandria, VA, is hosting this Fall 2019 Coleridge Initiative Applied Data Analytics training program, sponsored by the United States Department of Agriculture. Participants will work in teams to define and complete a project related to IRI and WIC. The program will provide up-to-date perspective on the use of data for policy analysis, and instruction on how to manage and analyze micro data according to best practices. Instructors will facilitate hands-on coding of micro data in SQL and Python for the following tasks: data management, record linkage, data visualization, and machine learning.
Thanks to funding from the United States Department of Agriculture, the cost per individual is $6,000. Additionally, scholarships are available to bring the cost down for agencies. By submitting the form and application materials listed below, agency employees will automatically be considered for a scholarship.
