ISTA Board of Directors
The mission of the Illinois Science Teaching Association (ISTA) is to promote excellence in science teaching and learning throughout Illinois. The vision of the Illinois Science Teaching Association is to establish ISTA as a resource for science education so that all students are scientifically and technologically literate, responsible and productive citizens.  

If you know someone that could positively influence science education in your region, complete the form below to nominate a Science educator in Illinois for the ISTA Board of Directors.

As you consider who to suggest for the ISTA Board of Directors, please remember the following:

-The Board sets policy and makes decisions on behalf of the membership by providing general oversight regarding the affairs of the association, its committees, affiliates and publications; determining its policies or changes therein; actively pursuing association goals and objectives; and monitoring financial affairs.  The Board of Directors adopts rules and regulations for the conduct of the association.

- Please discuss your nomination(s) with the individual(s) prior to submission. By nominating any individual, you attest to their willingness to be considered for the open Board positions.

- Use the Board of Directors Nomination Form to nominate yourself and/or other individuals.

- ISTA requests nominations are made by June 30th.
