Cache County Drainage District Board of Trustees Application  (Districts #3, #4, #5, #6)
A Drainage District is a Special District with legal authority over the finance, design, installation, operation and maintenance of drains for drainage of farm lands. Under drainage district law, land ownership within the district is required for membership and participation in district activities. District taxation creates capital finances through the issue and sale of district bonds for drain installation and maintenance. A Drainage District Board of Trustees is appointed by the legislative body (Cache County Council) of the county following the procedures outlined in Utah Code 17B-1-304.

Persons appointed to serve as members of the Board of Trustees serve four-year terms. At the end of each board member's term, the position is considered vacant, and, after following the appointment procedures established in Utah Code 17B-1-304, the County Council may either reappoint the incumbent board member or appoint a new member. See Utah Code 17B-1-304.

Persons who wish to be considered for appointment must be a registered voter living within the boundaries of the drainage district they are applying for. APPLICATIONS DUE SUNDAY, MAY 11, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
