Idaho has been allocated 1 member on each of the 3 standing committees for the 2020 Democratic National Convention (Credentials, Platform and Rules) for a total of 3 members.

Members of conventions standing committees need not be delegates to the 2020 Democratic National Convention.

Temporary standing members will be selected at the IDP State Central Committee meeting on March 7, 2020. A separate election will be help for each committee member. The standing committees will be equally divided between men and women as possible.

Any Democrat may apply for standing committee positions. Anyone wishing to be considered for one of these positions must submit this application by March 6, 2020 at 5:00pm MT.

Temporary members only serve in the event that the respective standing committee is called to meet prior to the completion of the state's delegate selection process and subsequent selection of permanent standing committee members. No temporary member may continue to serve after the selection of the permanent standing committee members unless they are elected as a permanent member.

Temporary members are responsible for all their own expenses.
