Please fill out this form if you are interested in scheduling a field trip to Urban Ventures Farm this summer! Field trips accommodate 15-35 students, pre-K through 12th grade, and are free for MPS schools and Head Start programs. Our funding is location-based, so if you are a Minneapolis-based group besides MPS, you may still be eligible for a free trip. We do not currently offer trips to groups outside Minneapolis.
Trips are 1.5 hours. The farm visit includes harvesting vegetables, interacting with our flock of chickens, and preparing a healthy snack.
Address is 2841 5th Ave S, Minneapolis. Green Central and Anderson classrooms usually walk (15 min) and Whittier and Anishinaabe are bikeable if you have bike access.
