This database is being developed to help reduce costs for Regional Clinics in Queensland to have Equipment & Premises Compliance Testers visit their facilities and perform a compliance assessment of radiation sources and premises to determine whether they meet the relevant safety standards. 

To ensure continued compliance with safety standards, reassessments must be conducted every 5 years for premises and every year for laser devices.

There are currently NO QLD Radiation Approved Equipment & Premises Compliance Testers North of Brisbane.

Nerang Laser Services is an Approved Equipment & Premises Compliance Tester that provides Clinic Testing. 

Current costs are as follows:

$200 + GST PER PREMISES COMPLIANCE 

$200 + GST PER DEVICE COMPLIANCE 

*In addition, there is an hourly travel fee, which is currently adding up to $2000 to the costs.

This database will allow Regional Clinics to register their location and have their devices tested at the same time each year in the same area, thereby reducing financial costs by sharing the additional travel costs with other clinics in their area/region.
