Thank you for our interested in the CHIP Leadership Cohort. The Coalition for a Healthy Greater Worcester is looking for individuals committed to improving the health of the Greater Worcester community, shows interest in promoting equitable organizations and systems, and directly connected to community programs, policy development or organizing.
This brief application will help us better understand your personal interests, skills, and goals for participation, based on the criteria outlined below. If you are selected to move forward with the next phase of the application process, we will contact you to set up a brief (20 minute) phone interview to discuss further.
We are accepting applications on a rolling basis, with phone interviews occurring until the end of July, and the deadline for applications is August 31st 2023.
Criteria for participation include:
1.) A 1 year commitment to the cohort with an average of 6 hours per month of required meeting attendance and preparation
2.) Completion of the 18-hour Trauma, Resiliency & Racial Equity Training Institute offered within first 6 months
3.) Support of the community outreach strategy by spreading the word and recruiting new coalition members
4.) Attend Monthly Coalition steering committee meeting and report on health priority area progress (First Tuesday of the month 12pm-1:30pm)
5.) Participate in the monthly CHIP Working Group meetings.
