O'Donnell Family Defense private classes are the same material and instruction as our regular classes, but they are held at your home or property. The state requires the class to be a minimum of 8 hours.

Private Class can be one day or split the class and range time on two different days. The cost of a private class is $300.00 which holds your date and reserves a spot for the first four participants. Every participant that signs up after that is an additional $75.00. Classes are limited to 12 participants. Classes can go larger, but would need notice to bring on another range officer.

The price mentioned above is with us coming to your home or office for class and shooting qualification on property you provide where it is legal to shoot. Lunch will not be provided by O'Donnell Family Defense for private CPL classes. We have target stands and a full setup to do range time. Please check your local and county ordinances to ensure it is legal to shoot on your property.

If you don't have space to shoot on, there are partnered ranges that can be used in lieu of your property. Please be aware using our partnered ranges will be an additional $25.00 per person for range upkept and maintenance. Requests to use our partnered ranges must be made at least 21 days before class date to ensure the ranges availability. If range arrangements are requested after the 21 days, the private class may be split into two days due to range unavailability.

Private CPL Classes can be completed in one day or split into two days. Full day classes are typically done on a weekend day. Split day classes can be done either weekday or weekend days or evenings. One day must be the classroom portion which is minimum of five hours. The second day will be the range qualification which is two-three hours.

There are rental firearms available for the range qualification. It is preferred that you have your own firearm so that you can be training on your firearm. That being said, there are rental firearms available. Our rental prices are as follows:

.22lr - 50 Rounds: $25.00
9mm - 50 Rounds: $35.00
.380acp - 50 Rounds $40.00
