We honor loved ones who are no longer with us by sharing these scholarships with our community.  The amount of scholarships is $250 per scholarship and will be awarded to the individual for tuition or educational expenses.

Criteria: High School Senior accepted to a trade/vocational, 2 or 4-year college

Preference: 
Accepted to Seton Hall or Rutgers University
Thomas Aquinas (Perth Amboy) or Franklin Township HS Student
Majoring in Latino and Caribbean Studies
Dominican or Puerto Rican Descent

Emerito Figueroa Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: This scholarship is to be awarded to a student of Puerto Rican heritage actively pursuing a vocation, trade, certificate program, Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

Felix Raimundi Resto Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Senior Latinx student from the Franklin New Brunswick school district who has been accepted to a 2-year or 4-year college in the state of New Jersey and who intends to pursue a career in the military services.

Melissa Hernandez Nazario Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Female students pursuing higher education at Seton Hall University or Rutgers University are encouraged to apply.  Preference will be given to a Latinx student who attended Thomas Aquinas High School in Perth Amboy and/or is a first-generation Dominican or Puerto Rican student.  

​Maria Virginia Arcelay Valentin Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Puerto Rican student accepted to Rutgers University, with preference to students pursuing any major from the Department of Latino and Caribbean Studies.
