Each year, Pleasant Valley PTA honors an advocate for continued and dedicated service to all children and a demonstrated commitment to helping create strong policies related to health, welfare, safety, and education of children and youth. This award may be bestowed upon a PTA grassroots advocate, teacher, assistant, administrator, or community member.

The recipient of this award receives a lapel pin and special certificate. In addition, our PTA contributes $65 in each recipient’s name to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Foundation. This foundation provides scholarships each year totaling $55,000 to high school graduates entering their freshman year at a college, university, or vocational school.
