CONGRATULATIONS on making the decision to embark on the process of becoming a CPCFT!! Our next start date is July 8th, 2024.

To ensure the most qualified students are selected for the program, and to eliminate the “Rush to Register” issue encountered previously, we are implementing an application process. This process will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete and is best viewed on a desktop/laptop. There is no fee to apply to this program. 

During the application process you will be asked to submit video demonstrating you working with a dog of your choice. Please include three to five different conditioning exercises. The video segment for each exercise should last at least 30 seconds, and all should be combined into one video. The maximum length of the video should be 5 minutes. Video editing and submission will be heavily used throughout the course. Please have a link to this video file (YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, etc) ready before you begin the application.

Please answer each question with as much detail as possible. The answers will be used to determine which applicants are best suited to the program, and will have a heavy influence on which students are selected, and which are deferred.

Over the past few years, we have seen the world change significantly, and we recognize that, while people may be passionate about canine conditioning, not everyone has the funds necessary to pursue their passion. We are now offering scholarships to applicants who are experiencing financial hardship, including (but not limited to) people living in areas of conflict, recent immigrants, people living in countries that are experiencing a currency crisis, underserved communities, marginalized communities, etc. To find out more about the scholarship opportunities, as you complete the application process, when you are given the option of choosing which program you would like to apply through, please choose "CPCFT Program Application (Scholarship)".
