Moderating Bangtan Base is a completely voluntary position that will often be thankless and potentially stressful. You may have to deal with people that don't recognize or care that you are a real human being behind the 'moderator title'. Users may get mad and argue with you because you gave them warning points or locked a thread of theirs, they may accuse you of biasness and spread that rumor around. Are you up able to handle the job and all that entails, the good and the bad? Explain why: *
Despite this forum being for fans of BTS, there will undoubtedly be people who you come across who have wildly differing opinions and views from you on the boys, the group, the music, the company, etc. Someone might not be a fan of your bias, someone may hate your OTP, someone may think your bias gets too many lines/screentime/attention, someone may criticize Big Hit on something you don't personally think is an issue, others can hate the BTS songs you love, etc. etc. Can you handle moderating those people fairly even though you may disagree, or even hate, their opinions? Explain. *
We will now present you with a few scenarios you might possibly encounter as a moderator. Please respond in detail how you would handle each scenario according to the rules of Bangtan Base and your own judgement as a moderator:
1. You notice a fellow moderator is abusing their powers to punish users they personally dislike while benefiting their friends. *
2. Several under age users have complained about a user private messaging them using very provocative and uncomfortable messages. *
3. A user makes a public death threat towards another user as well as a member of BTS. *
4. A user posted a cryptic message in the general discussion thread, implying that they are planning to harm themselves. *
