We are seeking input from stakeholders following the pilot of the virtual early release Friday, April 21, 2023. Your input will be considered by St. Mary's County Public Schools, the Calendar Committee, and the Board of Education as we plan for the 2023-2024 school year.

Background

The Maryland State Department of Education has provided guidance that allows local school systems to utilize up to 8 days in the 180 school year as virtual instruction days. This school year, SMCPS is piloting the implementation of two days, April 21 and May 12, to virtual learning days.

The survey asks for your input to help guide future decision making. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
