As a Cohort participant, you will:
- Find and form a core group of like-minded folks within your own faith community to take action together
- Explore God's calling to you and your church to participate in the renewal of all things
- Initiate transformational conversations which build bridges and shift attitudes towards vulnerable people
- Use your voice to advocate for systemic change on behalf of our planet
- Together with your group, plan, gather, and mobilise others to take action in ways that lead to real change
- Find the power of your own stories, and our shared Christian story, to engage others on issues of justice
Cohort participants will have unique access to:
- First-hand impact stories of how climate change is disproportionately impacting the world’s most vulnerable people.
- Renowned speakers to help you form a theologically-informed framework for justice and social change
- One to One Coaching and targeted support in mobilising your community towards action
- A community of like-minded Christians who are attempting similar work in different contexts
- Meaningful times of connection and celebration other Christians seeking justice in the world as part of a global movement
As a Cohort participant, you will be committing to -
- Forming and leading an action group within the life of your faith community  (we will support you in this!)
- Attending monthly Cohort gatherings, including the weekend digital retreat and monthly seminars.
- Honouring Tearfund values: the poor, the whole person, justice, prayer, relationships, participation, excellence, learning from others, collaboration, and accountability.
- Responding to Tearfund campaigns and calls to action towards a renewal of all creation throughout the year of Jubilee.
- Abiding by Tearfund's code of conduct and safeguarding practices.
Key dates -
The leadership program will kick off in March and run until November, it will include
- A Weekend digital retreat (Late March)
- Monthly Seminars via Zoom
- Ongoing local group meetings, planning and action

We estimate that the average monthly time commitment (including the evening seminar) will be approximately 10 hours per month, or 2.5 hours per week).
