The purpose of this form is to register your student for math placement testing on August 23, 2023. This includes students entering the district, AND students taking a final exam to advance through a course. Please complete this registration as soon as possible to allow us to prepare testing materials.
Please note the following:
- Testing will take place on August 23, 2023 at 9am in Room 197 at Metuchen High School.
- Students should sign into the main office at the high school beginning at 8:50. They will be directed to the room. They will exit from the main entrance. Parents should not come to the testing room. This is to maintain a quiet testing environment.
- Students should come prepared with pens or pencils, and, if desired, a water bottle. No food is permitted.
- Students taking high school exams as part of the advancement program should bring an appropriate calculator. Please note that the Honor Algebra 2 exam does not permit graphing calculators. Graphing calculators are permitted on portions of the Honors Pre-Calculus exam.
- Placement testing will take 1.5-2 hours. Exams will take 2-3 hours. You should plan for student pick up accordingly.
