NISF Volunteer Application Form 2022
We are delighted to announce that the NI Science Festival return for another 11 days of amazing events  between 17- 27 February 2022. This year we will be offering over 150 events, focusing the Human Body, Scoial Science, Digital Technology, Engineering, Chemistry, The Natural World and much more.  If you’re passionate about science and can devote some time in person in February, we'd love to have you join our amazing team of volunteers!

The objective of the festival is to make science accessible to everyone and we facilitate this by programming a variety of workshops, talks and interactive activities for young people, families, schools and adults.

We understand that this year will be slightly different to previous years but we will be taking a cautious and assessed approach to all of our live events. Present government guidelines will be adhered to and all staff, volunteers and festival attendees will need to demonstrate their Covid 19 status upon entry to indoor spaces.

As a Festival volunteer you will be will be asked to help out at various events, dealing with registration queries, ticketing, visitor surveys and general duties at live outdoor and venue based events. You will receive your t-shirt and free tickets to a selection of events taking place during the 11 days.

In the past we have had an induction evening which will also be where you are registered as official STEM Ambassadors. This year we will not be doing this, instead we will ask you to join a zoom briefing just to run through the programme, ask questions and to meet others within the 2022 team.

You will be required to attend one of these online sessions:

Afternoon Session: Tuesday 25th January at 2pm  - online link to follow
Evening session:  Wednesday 26th January at 7pm -  online link to follow

** Remember if you have already completed our STEM Ambassador programme please ensure to indicate this in the required section below.
