We are very excited about the amazing year ahead for the LGBT Center of Raleigh's Youth Leadership Team. The team membership is a full year commitment from beginning of June 2019 to the end of June 2020, where you will need to meet on a regular basis in person or by video call. To qualify as a member you must be 13-18 years old and in high school or the equivalent in North Carolina. No prior leadership experience is required. All applicants will be reviewed by a committee of the current youth leadership team and our adult leadership team. The team will have training sessions to get to know each other, select teams, and set goals for the year. Join us for this great opportunity to help make some great programs with other LGBTQ youth.

**Note, this is the full commitment option for assisting our programs. We will have occasional shorter term opportunities to help.

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS TEAM:
- Keep updated with internal messenger Slack team (24 hr response or reaction)
- Email follow-up with-in 72 hours of receipt
- Attend meetings and events of your team or provide reasoning that you will not be able to attend in advance (work/school/family obligation)

Note final teams for this year will be selected at one of the training sessions. Dates for those will be set as immediately after selection by a poll of the new team. Each team has an adult adviser that will work with you to plan and execute the events.

ASPYRE: Annual Leadership Camp in March 2019, monthly planning meetings; training in February/March

QueerNC Raleigh Events Team: quarterly planning meeting and running monthly events

Youth Coffee House: Facilitate monthly offsite drop-in event 3:30-6p Third Thu and plan special events.

Web Team: Update and create content for QueerNC.org

Outreach and Statewide QueerNC organizing: #1 Reaching out to organizations across NC to provide additional resources for youth. #2 Establishing and supporting local chapters of QueerNC.

TpartE: Facilitation in session 2nd Thu at Center 6:30-8p and activity planning; Quarterly planning call

Drop-In: Facilitate weekly activity or discussion and clean space; Monthly planning sessions
