After the Successful commercialization of another round of funded research, UBL-Jaffna is opening the 3rd round of funding to facilitate research with commercialization potential. 

This grant is specifically for research with Intellectual Property Development and Commercialisation only.

Interested researchers are requested to fill out this Google Form on or before 16th July 2023. 

The research ideas will be analyzed and screened by UBL-Jaffna 

Based on the novelty, outcomes and technology readiness level (TRL) of the research idea, fund will be allocated on a case by case basis. The TRL scale guide is attached herewith for your reference. (Researches with TRL 4 or above will only be entertained).

Selected candidates will be required by the UBL to fill the grant application. 

This grant cannot be utilized for equipment. But can be used for consumables, Human power etc.

The grantee will need to primarily work with OTS regards to the procurement process.
