The Finance Coordinator will manage & coordinate NTFP-EP Asia’s overall financial resources & systems. S/he will be a senior member of the Asia operations management team who will supervise a team of three staff and coordinate with program staff, other finance counterparts including with project donors, managers and partners in other countries.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A university degree in Finance or any related field and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), an advantage;
2. At least 8-year work experience on accounting, financial recording, and other financial systems (with good working knowledge of QuickBooks, required);
3. At least 5-year work experience in multi-donor/multi-project fund management, budgeting, monitoring and reporting to donors;
4. Knowledge of Philippine NGO organizational financial management, practices and taxes, a strong advantage.
5. A Filipino national and based in or willing to relocate within Metro Manila;
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills;
7. Strong interpersonal skills, able to work in a multicultural environment and a team player;
8. Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office365 programs and online platforms;
9. A self-starter and deadline-driven;
10. Willing to travel and flexible;
11. Knowledge of and interest on issues related to natural resource management and indigenous peoples’ rights are an advantage.
This is a full-time work with maximum 6-month probation. Duty station is in Quezon City, Philippines with occasional domestic and international travels. Salary range is from Php.65,000-Php.75,000 gross per month with standard benefits. The final salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
