When I was in high school, I took only 3 AP classes earning the following grades and exam scores--APUSH (B, 2), Econ (A, 3), and Lit (A, 5).  List the AP Courses you've taken, your final grade in the course, and your AP exam score. *
I am a crazy bird lady.  I even make my own suet and fill my six feeders every week in winter.  What are you passionate about, or at least what are your favorite hobbies? How do you spend your free time?   *
I am a visual learner.  In fact, I have a hard time remembering things I hear, but if I see or read it, I know it forever.  What type of learner are you? *
I read constantly.  I mostly like historical fiction, but the occasional nonfiction book interests me as well.  I like to buy books at Goodwill because it's inexpensive and at least I know someone read it before me.  Describe yourself as a reader.  What do you like to read? Why? What was the last book that you read? *
I gravitate toward expository and explanatory writing.  Even though I am an English teacher, I don't do much creative writing.  I may write an occasional poem or narrative, but my strength is in essay writing.  Describe yourself as a writer.  What do you enjoy writing?  What do you least like about writing?   *
My tendency toward perfectionism sometimes poses obstacles to my success.  I often will not take on a job if I think I won't do it perfectly.  What usually stops you from being successful? Look at your past track record and write a little about that here. *
My goal is to guide you toward critical thinking and reasoned writing.  You can help me by giving your complete attention and your best effort toward the content of this class.  What can I, your teacher, do to help you meet your goals? *
I have two degrees from the University of Georgia.  I have two college-aged sons, one of whom is in the army and the other is at KSU, and my husband is an IT executive and professor at Georgia State University.  Is there anything else you’d like your teacher to know about you? *
