This EU-funded project will demonstrate that renewable hydrogen can serve as a flexible means of storing energy which can then be used to power an industrial turbine.
The project marks the realisation of the world's first, on an industrial scale, demonstration of the conversion of electricity from Renewable Energy Sources (RES) to Hydrogen and its utilization in a cogeneration unit for the production of renewable electricity and heat. In 2023, trials will continue to increase the hydrogen ratio up to 100%.
This survey is part of a thesis which conducts a Social Life Cycle Analysis, aiming to assess the public's perception on the project. In the first section you will be asked your opinion on matters regarding Hydrogen and Green energy.
Green Energy is any energy produced from natural resources, such as the sunlight, wind or water. The key element of green energy is that its energy resources do not harm the environment (eg. no release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere or radioactive waste etc).
