Sumner School - Covid Vaccination Order

On 25 October 2021, the COVID-19 Vaccination Order came into effect - https://www.legislation.govt.nz/regulation/public/2021/0094/latest/LMS487853.html.

This Vaccination Order makes COVID-19 vaccinations mandatory for anyone working onsite at a school who may come into contact with students. It applies to:
- all school staff (teachers, support and other onsite staff)
- contractors
- volunteers
- anyone else engaged to provide onsite services

All education staff who may have contact with children must have had their first jab by November 15 and be fully vaccinated by January 1, 2022.

Attached below is our privacy statement regarding the collection and storing of your vaccination information and status. It is important to note at school the authorised personnel who will see this data at school are Anna Granger as Principal and Sue Stevens in her role as Business Manager.
