I'm accepting applications for readers who'd like to join my ARC team. In addition to early copies of my books, team members will enjoy lots of fun perks including giveaways and surprises in your mailbox. However, all team members must adhere to the guidelines below.
Please read carefully. Serious inquiries only.
🖤 WHAT IS AN ARC? 🖤
An ARC is an Advanced Reader Copy meant to be sent out to book reviewers prior to a book's publication. Often this is also referred to as a galley copy, a bound copy, or an uncorrected proof copy. As the book is pre-publication, it may contain typos or formatting errors. ARCs are not final retail copies of the book and should be evaluated based on story content only.
🖤 REVIEW EXPECTATIONS 🖤
When a review copy link is sent out to the ARC team, those who download the book are expected to write a release day review in exchange for the advanced copy of the book. To be clear, this does not in any way mean early access to the book is being granted in exchange for a positive review. I ask that your review be a fair and honest assessment of the story, good or bad. It's just required to be posted on release day on Amazon, and if you're feeling generous, on Bookbub and/or Goodreads as well. There is a 3 day grace period for reviews. Failure to post your review by the third day after release will result in removal from the ARC team.
🖤 REVIEW COPY DISTRIBUTION 🖤
ARCs will be supplied at least 7 days prior to the release date, but more often then not, it will be closer to 14-21 days prior to release.
Advanced copies are sent to the ARC group members via a Bookfunnel download link. You're not required to download the book but if you do, the requirement is that you're agreeing to the review expectations outlined above. All ARCs are branded as ARC copies. ARC copies are not to be sold, rented, shared, or otherwise distributed by anyone on the ARC team. Distribution of an ARC will result in removal from the ARC team. ARC files are supplied in epub, mobi, and PDF format. However, they can also be read right through the Bookfunnel app (free!!!).
🖤 GENRE & CONTENT 🖤
Jena Gregoire primarily writes urban fantasy, paranormal romance, and paranormal fantasy. Stories will contain violence, foul language, and sexually charged material. Books provided to this ARC group will be intended for readers 18+.
🖤 PRIVACY 🖤
