Christmas Market Application
Thank you for showing interest in applying for Shire Hall's Christmas Market 2024

This year's Christmas Market will be held on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November. 
We will be open from 10am to 4pm both days, with Free Entry!
We are a completely indoor event with stalls positioned through the whole building from our meeting rooms, and open spaces to the museum itself and our cells.
We recommend to our visitors a one way system therefore every stall is passed by each visitor. 

Spaces for our Christmas Market are very limited. We will consider both new and previous attendees to our markets. If you are unsuccessful this year, we will automatically add you to a reserves list and be in touch if anything changes. We do our best to have a selection of products, with very little overlap to give our visitors the best experience and our stall holders the highest opportunity to have a successful weekend. 

We are aware of a new market that will be taking place around Dorchester (outdoor stalls) on Sunday 24th November. This year, we will be working together to promote both events and hope that both can benefit from an increased footfall.

Please note: Applications from third party sellers such as Avon and Body Shop will not be successful.

Closing date for applications is  Sunday 3rd March.

All offer emails will be sent out by Sunday 10th March.
Payment will then be required within 2 weeks of this offer. All payment details will be sent with the offer. 
Any stalls that were unsuccessful, I will try to contact by end of March. 

Prices

Stalls 
We have two table sizes either (roughly) 6ft x 2ft table or 5ft x 3ft table. These will be allocated depending on stall position in the museum. If you would like a certain size table, I would recommend bringing your own. 
  • Full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) - £75
  • One Day (Saturday or Sunday) - £40
Extra Space (very limited) 
Space provided will allow for no more than a 6ft table. If your table is bigger or you need more space, please request on your form. 
An extra cost will be incurred - please detail what it is required for. As much detail as possible is preferred to help us plan locations and fit within Shire Hall. Associated cost for extra space will be detailed in offer email and dependent on amount. 

Power supply
  • One Day- £5
  • Full weekend- £10

Requests can be made with regards to location, power supply and additional space but are not guaranteed.
