The color guard is an award winning program made of fun and inclusive students.
No experiences of any kind is needed - you will learn everything you need to know.
For Tryouts bring:
Water
Wear comfortable clothing (workout/dance attire)
A friend to tryout with you
Good attitude (it's okay if you mess up)
Recent report card (screenshot is ok)
Color Guard students earn P.E. & Fine Arts credits in the same school year. They travel with the band and on their own in the spring. Past band trips included New Orleans, Orlando, Chicago, and Tulsa. Guard students are able to obtain a letterman jacket, and senior scholarships.
The color guard consistently travels to San Antonio, Austin and other cities for spring regionals. This year they won first place at the San Antonio regional and 3rd place at the Austin regional.
