Benelux Metabolomics seminar: Environmental Metabolomics

On Thursday, February 24 from 15.30 to 17.00 CET we have our next online Benelux Metabolomics seminar: Environmental Metabolomics.

Many progress has been made in environmental metabolomics. In environmental metabolomics the interactions of organisms with their environment are studied often to assess the organism function and health at a molecular level. In this seminar we will focus on the use of metabolomics to understand the effects of organisms to chemical stressors, and to study the mechanisms of microbial chemical interactions and communication.

Speakers:

* Pim Leonards, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam:
"A metabolomics approach to study the effects of environmental contaminants on various organisms."

* Muhammad Rizaludin, NIOO-KNAW
"The role of volatile compounds in belowground plant-microbe interactions."

* Aniko Kende, Syngenta
"Soil metabolomics"
