SMA FFF Registration 23-24
  • St. Matthew the Apostle Family Faith Formation will now beheld on one *Sunday morning* a month - the FIRST Sunday of every month AFTER 9AM Mass (except September, which will be on Sept. 10). There will be donuts & fellowship followed by lessons for parents and children (divided by age).
  • Registration is open to *all families* with children in grades K - 8th grade, families whose children are in public school, private school or homeschool.
  • Families will register together with the form below, and at least one parent must attend. There is a $40 registration fee that can be paid by cash or check, dropped off or mailed to the Church Office, or brought to a FFF meeting.
  • Those preparing for the Sacraments of Penance and Eucharist will be given formation resources to complete at home and invited to two retreat days. Additional registration will be required.

Safe Environment Training

The Archdiocese of New Orleans requires every parish to provide safe environment education classes to all children who attend parish programs. The SMA Family Faith Formation program utilizes archdiocese approved age appropriate lessons. These will be provided during the first portion of the school year. If you give permission for your child to receive the lesson, you do not need to take any additional action. If, however, you DO NOT WISH for your child to receive the lesson, you will need to sign a refusal form and submit to our DRE by 11/01/2023. The refusal form can be obtained from the Director or printed from the archdiocese website under the safe environment link.
